Last updated: September 2026

MOVE ON respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information we collect and use when you visit our website, make an enquiry, book a session or participate in our services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it and the rights you have in relation to your personal information.

1. Who we are

MOVE ON is responsible for the personal information collected and used in connection with this website and our services.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is used, please contact:

George Schuster
MOVE ON
Email: george@moveon.fitness

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with MOVE ON, we may collect:

  • your name;

  • email address;

  • telephone number;

  • information provided through enquiries or contact forms;

  • booking and transaction information;

  • information required to administer your participation in MOVE ON sessions;

  • information relating to a participating child where provided by a parent or guardian;

  • website usage information, including information collected through cookies and analytics technologies.

We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

3. Health and medical information

Some MOVE ON activities require health screening before participation.

Health information is special category personal data under UK data-protection law and receives additional protection.

MOVE ON does not collect health-screening information through the standard Squarespace booking form.

Where health screening is required, MOVE ON uses a separate digital health-screening system. The information provided through that system may include information about health conditions, injuries, medication or other circumstances relevant to safe participation.

We use this information only where necessary to assess and manage participation, adapt activities appropriately and help provide sessions safely.

We will only process health information where we have identified an appropriate lawful basis and the additional condition required for special category data under UK data-protection law.

4. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries;

  • process and administer bookings;

  • take and manage payments;

  • communicate with customers about bookings and sessions;

  • administer participation in MOVE ON activities;

  • manage health and safety requirements;

  • provide and improve our services;

  • maintain appropriate business and financial records;

  • comply with legal, regulatory and insurance requirements;

  • manage our website and understand how it is used.

We will not use personal information for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes described above without providing appropriate information and, where required, obtaining consent or another lawful basis.

5. Lawful bases for using information

Depending on the circumstances, MOVE ON may rely on one or more of the following lawful bases under UK data-protection law:

  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a service that you have booked or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

  • Legitimate interests — where processing is reasonably necessary for the operation, administration, security and improvement of MOVE ON, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

  • Legal obligation — where processing is necessary for MOVE ON to comply with a legal requirement.

  • Consent — where we specifically ask for your consent and consent is the appropriate legal basis.

Where we process health information, we also identify the additional condition required for special category data.

6. Children’s information

MOVE ON provides father-and-child activities involving children.

Where information relating to a child is collected, it will be used only where reasonably necessary for the relevant service, including booking administration, participation, safety and appropriate coaching.

We expect parents or guardians to provide information relating to participating children and to make children aware, where appropriate, of how their information is being used.

We take particular care with children’s personal information and do not use children’s information for unrelated marketing purposes.

UK data-protection guidance requires privacy information concerning children to be clear, accessible and appropriate to their age and understanding.

7. Who we share information with

We may share personal information with trusted service providers where this is necessary to operate MOVE ON and provide our services.

This may include providers involved in:

  • website hosting and operation;

  • booking and payment processing;

  • digital health screening;

  • email and communications;

  • website analytics;

  • professional, legal, accounting or insurance services where appropriate.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Where another organisation processes information on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate data-protection and security arrangements are in place.

8. Payments

Payments made through the MOVE ON website are processed by our payment provider.

MOVE ON does not normally receive or store your full payment-card details.

Payment information may be processed by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its own privacy policy and security requirements.

9. Cookies and analytics

The MOVE ON website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • operate essential website functions;

  • remember preferences;

  • understand website traffic and usage;

  • improve website performance and user experience.

Where required, non-essential cookies will only be used in accordance with your cookie preferences.

You can manage your cookie preferences using the cookie controls provided on the website.

10. Marketing

We will only use your personal information for direct marketing where we have a lawful basis to do so.

Where consent is required, we will obtain it before sending marketing communications.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

11. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide services, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal, accounting, insurance or other legitimate requirements.

Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

We will periodically review information we hold and delete or securely dispose of information that is no longer required, where appropriate.

12. Keeping information secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

However, no website, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights under UK data-protection law including the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • object to certain processing;

  • request transfer of certain information to another organisation where the right applies;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights are subject to certain legal exceptions and may not apply in every circumstance.

To exercise your rights or ask questions about how your information is used, contact George at MOVE ON using the contact details above.

14. Complaints

If you have concerns about how MOVE ON has handled your personal information, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data-protection regulator.
